Job skills and training programmes in Ireland

Responsibility for the delivery of Employment Services and Employment Programmes (formerly administered by FÁS) transferred to the Department of Social Protection on the 1st January 2012.

Anyone wishing to access these services can still do so by contacting their nearest Employment Service Office external website).

Intreo is a new service from the Department of Social Protection. Intreo is a single point of contact for all employment and income supports.  Designed to provide a more streamlined approach, Intreo offers practical, tailored employment services and supports for jobseekers.
